Postincident Review: Suffolk (VA) Fire Rescue Close Call

Host Pete Prochilo talks with Suffolk (VA) Fire Chief Mike Barakey and Battalion Chief James Broglin, the incident commander, about a recent near miss on the fireground. On March 11, 2019, Suffolk Fire & Rescue crews responded to a residential fire and found a large detached garage including two vehicles was fully involved. A Mayday was called on the fireground when a firefighter working between the garage and primary residence was trapped by a wall collapse.
